Board of Directors

As with all credit unions, Health Care Credit Union is a non-profit cooperative with a volunteer board of directors elected from and by the membership.  The Board of Directors serves as the governing body of the credit union approving all credit union operations.
 
Board of Directors


Elizabeth (Dede) Cummings:  Dede is a Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor and Independent Clinical Supervisor for Affinity Behavioral Health.  She has been employed there for 23 years.  Dede joined Health Care Credit Union in 1988 and has served our Board of Directors since
1995.  She is currently serving as the Board Chairperson.

Ted Bowen:  Ted is a lifelong resident of Oshkosh with a Journalism degree.  He also served for five years in the United States Air Force.  After more than 20 years working for Service Litho Print, he retired in 2009.  Ted is very active in yachting and has served on multiple board of directors.  He as been a member of Health Care Credit Union for more than 30 years.  Ted was elected to the Board of Directors in 2011 and is currently serving as Vice Chair.

Paula Pedretti:  Paula is a staff nurse at Winnebago Mental Health Institute.  She previously worked as an employee of Health Care Credit Union before getting her nursing degree at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.  Paula has been a member for more that ten years and joined the Board of Directors in 2010.  She is currently serving as Secretary.

Kim Jones Verstegen:

Kim has been a member of Health Care Credit Union since 1988.  She graduated from UW-Stout with a Bachelor's degree and also from UW-Oshkosh with a Master's degree.  Kim is a past member of Noon Optimist, a Board member of the Florence Webster Allen Education Foundation, a former member of AVA Alliance for Volunteer Agencies/Oshkosh and a former 4-H leader for Golden Oak.  She is currently the Volunteer Coordinator

for the State of Wisconsin Board of Aging Long Term Care.  Kim was born and raised on a farm in Pickett, WI.  She is married to Tom and they have four children; Connor, Lydia, Clayton and Laura.   She was elected to the position in 2012 and is serving as a Director.

 

 

Cheryl Minerath: Cheryl has been a member of Health Care Credit Union since 1986.  She graduated from UW-Oshkosh with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Master's degree in Accounting.  She is a past President of Women in Management and a member of Westside Association.  She is currently a CPA for Schenck SC, a public accounting firm, since 1999.  She is a lifelong resident of Oshkosh, WI.  Cheryl is married to Ben and they have three children; Melissa, Rachel, and Aaron.  Cheryl is currently serving as a Director.

Terry Goodermuth: Terry is a Technical Sales Engineer with  Arrow AV Group, located in Appleton, WI. He came to join Arrow AV Group in February of 1995 after honorably serving his country in the United States Air Force. In 1999, after a restructuring of the company, he was promoted to General Manager.  Terry has been a part of the Arrow family for the last 21 years. He has achieved professional certifications as an Electronic Systems Technician, Level Two Plus (EST L2+) certification from the National Systems Contractors Association, and Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) through InfoComm International. 

    Terry married his high school sweet heart, and they have raised 4 children. In his spare time Terry serves as the president of the Oshkosh Eagles Youth Football Program, along with serving as a commissioner for Oshkosh Youth Softball. Terry is very active with these programs and several other youth based programs. He has mentored Oshkosh youth through sports for the last 15 years.  

    Terry and his wife Maggie have been members of Health Care Credit Union for over 10 years.

Sandra J Koch: Sandy worked for First Financial Bank for 8 years(Our Current Sawyer St Location).  She started as a teller and moved to a Full Time Teller Operations Supervisor.  First Financial Bank then merged with Associated Bank. 

Sandy worked in the financial enviroment for 25+ years.  At Associated Bank she started as a Personal Banker doing auto loans, mortgages, sold annuities, and insurance.  She then became the Vault Custodian for three years and moved on to Teller Supervisor.  She retired from Associated Bank in 2010.

After retirement Sandy drove for the Red Cross for a period of time before beginning to work for ADVOCAP.  She schedules all transportation of children and clients of Winnebago County Dept of Human Services, including Elderly and Veterans.  Sandy supervises 11 drivers. 

In addition Sandy is a volunteer at Mercy Medical Center. 

Sandy has been a member of Health Care Credit Union for 6 years and is currently serving as a Director.
